James: So, what’s a “Session 0”?
J.D.: Test run, essentially. Finish character building and run some practice situations.
GM: Might be good, solves some first act issues…
J.D.: Too much storyline, not enough gameplay?
GM: Just not enough for everyone to do initially.
J.D.: You write better single player than multiplayer, ya know.
GM: I’m working on that.
James: Well, I’m an Egyptologist, so guessing that’ll come up?
GM: Can’t say – spoilers.
J.D.: Yeah, sure, it MIGHT come up.
James: I’m sensing a little sarcasm…

Issue-003

That's one little irony of TTRPGs - you know things your character can't and have to specifically ignore any relevant extrapolation. Whether it's exploitative metagaming or just putting two and two together, it's something to be avoided.

Ra's headdress was selected for the title sequence based on the sheer level of detail embedded into it. Also, I've heard all the lines on Ra's headdress are supposed to suggest circuitry. I always just figured it was cracks from sheer age or pure decoration - that the sheer detail of it denoted all the time and effort that went into it. Stargate SG-1 apparently also used this part of the intro for the initial five seasons on Showtime and I cannot imagine how boring that must have seemed to just pan over the same mask every week to such an upbeat theme song.
