James: Alright, here goes… *ahem* Every other architectural structure at the time was covered in detailed hieroglyphics. When is the academic community going to accept the fact that the Pharoahs of the Fourth Dynasty did NOT build the Great Pyramids? Look, inside the Pyramid, the most incredible structure ever erected, there are no writings and –
GM: Doctor Jackson, you’ve left out the fact that Colonel Vyse discovered quarrymen’s –
James: Uh, right, right.
J.D.: Goody, audience involvement…
GM: inscriptions with Khufu’s name, within the Pyramid.
James: Well, his discovery was a fraud!
GM: Outraged muttering from the audience…
J.D.: I feel like muttering, seriously we’re not actors in your bloody screenplay!
 

This exchange is admittedly awkward. When I first started this I tried to use the movie dialogue verbatim and came to realize that doesn't always work. Here, without Jackson's intro describing how other structures were covered in writings, the immediate connection between no writings and the Fourth Dynasty is jarring. However, there simply wasn't enough space to include that. Although I do think it works as showing how deep Roland went when prepping for the game - he knows what he means, but the other players don't always know what he means.
